Hattie's Birthday Present

Tomorrow we're headed to a birthday party for one of my favorite co-workers. She's admired my bag, so I thought one was in order for her 24th(?).

I threw in the removable belt for biking.

I was so happy when I got home and remembered that I had this vintage flower print I could use for the pocket and sides.

A Busy Weekend

Here is a little outfit we made for some friends who are expecting a little girl soon. D crocheted the hat and I whipped up the little dress and shoes.

Here's a 2T coat I made for Nina. It's a woven cotton from Guatemala and it's lined with polar fleece. 

 I like these wooden buttons we found and they toned down the rainbow feel. The little loops are made from elastic for an easy on and off.

 This coat is headed out to Simon Dula. I went for the vintage boy sports' coat look. I hope he likes it. It's corduroy lined with a softer red corduroy.

 One of my favorite things about this coat are the reinforced elbows!

I couldn't resist a matching hat.
